This webinar is presented by Romana Echensperger MW 

In this seminar we'll explain why there was an impetus for the first organic movement worldwide at the beginning of the 20th century, especially in Germany. 

We want to look at the principles of biodynamics as a very modern form of agriculture which can give hints for future sustainable developments. We examine why these methods are being adopted by top wineries today. Furthermore, we''ll discuss what biodynamics mean in cellar technique and what role certification boards should have.  

 

About Romana Echensperger MW: 

Romana Echensperger MW worked for many years as a head sommelier in various top restaurants. Among others in the restaurant Vendôme near Cologne, which is awarded with 3 stars in the Guide Michelin. Since 2015 she can call herself a “Master of Wine”. She has been working intensively for many years on the subject of biodynamics. She recently wrote a comprehensive book, highlighting the biodynamic wine scene in German-speaking countries.
